A SWOT analysis is a common tool used as part of organisational strategic planning sessions and by management consultants globally to varying levels of success. While it is a tremendous tool for generating healthy organisational discussion if it fails to generate meaningful actions, then it is just talking, and the organisation will fail to realise any of the potential benefits of conducting a SWOT analysis.
